EcoSphere® biolatex™ dispersions are a direct replacement for SB and SA Latex

EcoSphere biolatex products are shipped as a dry agglomerate powder that is readily dispersed into the paper coating formulation using conventional mixing equipment. It can also be pre-dispersed in water to provide a liquid biolatex dispersion. We are currently providing laboratory samples and coating trial quantities to qualified paper mills upon request. EcoSphere biolatex dispersions have an excellent balance of properties for web and sheet offset, as well as rotogravure publication paper grades. EcoSphere biolatex dispersions generally provide a more open coating structure — reducing blister in coated web offset papers and improved gluability in paperboard. They contain no VOCs and do not yellow when exposed to UV light. EcoSphere biolatex dispersions can be used in formulations for all types of coaters including blade, rod, air knife and metered size press coaters.
