Today's performance needs for PSAs can be very demanding. One required characteristic is customer-specific label removability. In this regard, EcoStix PSA products can be formulated to wash-off at a certain temperature, like labels designed to be removed at 50°C. PSAs developed with our EcoStix product were designed to be repulpable as a solution to the paper recycling industry's "stickies" problem, where adhesives interfere with the recycling process. The adhesive properties of EcoStix PSAs are "turned off" during paper recycling. This guarantees complete removal from the process stream, resulting in a simple and efficient recyclability.
