The first collection of environmentally sustainable sugar-based monomers to be introduced to the chemical industry in 20 years -EcoMer

Paint ApplicationAs a bio-monomer, EcoMer can partially replace a wide variety of petrochemicals such as acrylate and vinyl monomers. An example of an acrylate monomer is butyl acrylate, which is used to make polymers that are used in many industrial applications including paints, adhesives, plastics, inks, toners, plasticizers and surfactants.
